Thanksgiving Food Drive 2016… Thank you!

donated food bagsOn Sunday, November 13, we wrapped up our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive with our Junior High Faith Formation, Senior High Youth Group, Confirmation Candidates and their families sorting, delivering and shelving the food donated to St. Andrew’s Food Cupboard. Our volunteers worked from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at St. Andrew’s helping organizing the donations. Thank you to all who participated.

The hundreds of food items donated at St. Thomas More and Our Lady Queen of Peace created one of the largest food donations that St. Andrew’s has ever received!

Pope Francis leading by example

On March 24, 2016, Pope Francis washed and kissed the feet of Muslim, Orthodox, Hindu and Catholic refugees in a moving ceremony during Holy Thursday Mass at a refugee center on the outskirts of Rome:

Do you want to build a snow man or woman?

We didn’t receive any snow before Christmas, so we had to get creative!
