Our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for St. Andrew’s Food Cupboard (890 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY) will begin with distribution of bags after all Masses on October 22 and 23.
Food items being collected are:
- Canned vegetables
- Stuffing mix
- Cranberry sauce
- Potatoes or yams, in cans or boxes
- Muffin mix
Help wanted… PART ONE:
We need members of both Junior High Faith Formation and Senior Youth Youth Group to be at every Mass to hand out the bags after Mass. Hopefully we can have at least two kids at every Mass. Our kids will hand the bags to people as they leave church at the end of Mass. Parents and siblings are welcome to help distribute the bags.

Help wanted… PART TWO:
All donations are to be returned to St. Thomas More or Our Lady Queen of Peace during the weekend of November 12-13.
After the last Masses on Sunday, November 13, (10:30 am at STM and 11:30 am at OLQP), members of both Youth Groups are invited to help sort and then transport the food to St. Andrew’s Food Cupboard, where it will be bagged it for distribution. Parents and older siblings (over age 12) are welcome to participate. We will need people to load their cars with the food donated and drive it to St. Andrew’s.
