If you can come in person, please join us at 6:30 for dinner and community, followed by prayer, reflection and conversation until 8:30. It can leave us feeling abandoned, hopeless, frustrated, angry, and may lead us to question God's love for us. What are we missing? Why does it seem that there are so many instances in the Gospels when Jesus performed miracles, yet when we desire a miracle we can be left with silence. Does this mean our prayers are unheard? Are they truly unanswered? This session will give us the opportunity to hear perspectives of some religious leaders on how the experiences of unanswered prayers have shaped their spiritual lives, as well as give us a chance to share our own wisdom and struggles with this subject.
