Protecting children and vulnerable adults is of the utmost importance.  The Diocese of Rochester has made a commitment to provide all employees and volunteers who work with children, teens and vulnerable adults with the necessary background they need to recognize sexual abuse. As a result, all diocesan Church employees and persons working with children, teens and vulnerable adults must be trained in Creating A Safe Environment (CASE) and will be processed for a criminal record check. Anyone driving children or teens to or from church activities must also have a New York State Department of Motor Vehicles clearance.
