Refugee Resettlement Information Meeting Are you interested in learning how we can help welcome Afghan refugee families to Rochester? Please join us on Wednesday, November 3rd at 3:00 PM in Slattery Hall at Our Lady Queen of Peace Gathering Space to hear from Lisa Hoyt, Director of Refugee and Immigration Services and Lauren Frye, Volunteer Coordinator at the Catholic Family Center. Rochester is one of 25 US cities to welcome Afghan interpreters and others who provided support as part of the US State Department Special Immigration Visa (SIV) program. There are many ways to assist CFC to meet the needs of introducing families to their new home in Rochester, ranging from donations of much needed supplies to individual and group volunteering opportunities. All are welcome to come, listen and explore how we can respond to God’s call
